Volunteer Lawyers Network and Legal Services State Support present a two-part webinar on Chapter 7 bankruptcies for low-income Minnesotans.

Both sessions are presented by Chapter 7 panel trustee Mary Jo Jensen-Carter and attorney Janine Hedback. The seminar guides participants through a Chapter 7 bankruptcy filing and is designed for attorneys new to the practice of consumer bankruptcy. Topics include how to conduct the initial interview; completing the petition; attending the meeting of creditors; and an overview of the schedules and creditors' rights.

2.5 hours of Standard MN CLE credit to be applied for. Register on Zoom.

Presenters:

Janine Hedback, Associate Attorney, Hedback Law Firm, PLLC. Ms. Hedback practices in bankruptcy and estate planning.

Mary Jo Jensen-Carter, Partner, Buckley and Jensen. Ms. Jensen-Carter practices exclusively in bankruptcy and creditor/debtor rights. She is a Chapter 7 panel trustee.
