Legal Services State Support’s 2025 Statewide Mini Conference is taking place all day Friday, November 14, 2025, at the offices of Fredrikson & Byron in downtown Minneapolis, MN. This mini conference is designed for legal aid intake and outreach workers. It is free of charge.

Training sessions will take place from 9:00 am - 4:30 pm, and will including trainings on compassion fatigue, legal issue spotting in various areas of law, and how to work with difficult clients. Lunch and refreshments will be provided, and a social happy hour will be held at Modist Brewing from 4:30-6:30 pm following the training sessions.

For those of you coming from outstate, State Support has arranged for a block of hotel rooms at the Westin Minneapolis at a special rate for the night before and after the conference. You will be responsible for the cost of your hotel stay. More information about how to register at the hotel will be provided shortly to those who indicate their interest in a hotel room on the conference registration form.
