Presenters:
Eric Quintana-Gwost, Staff Attorney, Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services. Eric Quintana-Gwost is a staff attorney with the Agricultural Worker Project of Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services, where he practices employment, immigration, and poverty law. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School. Before joining SMRLS, Eric interned for the Chief Justice of the Colorado Supreme Court; served as a law clerk at the Securities and Exchange Commission; and handled civil rights claims, federal criminal defense, and insurance litigation under attorney Kenneth Udoibok.
Sidney Ahles, Paralegal/Outreach Worker, Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services. Sidney Ahles is a paralegal/outreach worker with the Agricultural Worker Project of Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services. Sidney previously worked two consecutive summers as an AWP Bilingual Outreach Advocate. In that role, she supported the AWP attorneys with employment and immigration cases and traveled with outreach staff throughout Minnesota and North Dakota to provide legal rights education to agricultural workers. Sidney holds a bachelor's degree in Spanish and International Studies from North Dakota State University.
