Join two experienced attorneys with a background of serving others to learn about working effectively with and for Native American clients. They will discuss and address:  

  • Recognizing sources of prejudice and “othering”  
  • Understanding clients’ personal and community history
  • The role of Legal Aid in cases impacting Native American communities
  • The intersections of law & real life in client’s homes
  • Status of legal issues affecting Native Americans today
  • Problems you may not be able to solve for clients
  • Building respect for non-white institutions

CLE: 1.5 Elimination of Bias CLE Credit will be applied for.
