Legal Services Advocacy Project (LSAP) Session Summaries Available Online

Each year, after the legislative session ends, the Legal Services Advocacy Project (LSAP) compiles a comprehensive summary of all the legislation enacted that affects low-income clients and Legal Aid practitioners who serve them.  LSAP is pleased to announce that the 2014 Session Summaries are now available at http://mylegalaid.org/downloads/2014_Session_Summaries.pdf.   They cover, among other areas:  Public Benefits Law; Housing and Landlord/Tenant Law; Domestic Violence and Related Issues; Employment and Unemployment Law; Child Care; Consumer Law; Civil Procedure; Data Practices Law; DHS Licensing; Health Law; Juvenile/Youth Law; Tax Law; and Utilities Law, and they contain a detailed summary of the new Expungement provisions.
